At East Rim Expeditions, we enjoy the beauty of the natural world and try to do anything we can to MAINTAIN that beauty. Here's a quick list of things we do to stay 'Green':
  • Recycle barely used shampoo and conditioner bottles from Zion Ponderosa Ranch and Resort for use at our secluded base camp. Zion Ponderosa was glad to donate these items in an effort to recycle.

  • Our base camp's bathroom is spring fed by natural spring water. No drilling required.

  • Our base camp's electricity comes from a solar panel that powers the lights ONLY at night. Our water is heated by clean-burning natural gas.

  • We practice Leave No Trace (LNT) camping techniques.
